Oklahoma Landscaping Festivals
Being passionate about gardening and landscaping is fun, but it’s more fun when you can get together with people who are just as passionate about it as you are. Networking and sharing your gardening and landscaping ideas with others can improve your gardening techniques while introducing you to new friends. Oklahoma has an array of gardening and landscaping festivals that are fun for the whole family to attend. We have gathered information about just a few of the many exciting Oklahoma landscaping festivals.
OKC Garden Fest
OKC Garden Fest takes place at the Oklahoma City Farmer’s Public Market every May. This festival is great for families, as it includes lots of children’s activities and food trucks. It features different herb and plant growers to chat with and learn from as well, along with viewing live gardening demonstrations. OKC Garden Fest also features art and various local wineries – with samples! This event is free.
The Botanic Garden at Oklahoma State University GardenFest
This festival takes place every September in Stillwater, Oklahoma – home of Oklahoma State University. The Botanic Garden at OSU’s Gardenfest is packed with programming, workshops, tours, and family-friendly activities. Demonstrations take place throughout the event, and experts are stationed throughout the gardens to answer any gardening or landscaping question you may have. The festival also has artwork, live music, and a plant sale. This event is free.
SpringFest Garden Market & Festival
The Tulsa Garden Center’s Springfest Garden Market & Festival takes place in Tulsa, Oklahoma every April. This event celebrates gardening, and is full of experts who are willing to answer any gardening or landscaping question you have.
